Support
OrganKey is made by a small team. There is no ticket queue and no chatbot — an email goes straight to a person, and we read all of them.
Email us:

It helps a lot if you tell us your device model, its iOS, iPadOS or
Android version, the app version (shown at the bottom of Settings), and
what you were doing when it went wrong.
Common questions
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account — there is nothing to sign up for. The organ, the styles and the arranger run on your device, so you can play offline. A connection is only needed to show ads in the free version, to buy or restore Premium, and to send diagnostics if you have turned them on.
There is a delay between touching a key and hearing it.
Almost always this is Bluetooth audio. Wireless headphones and speakers add a delay of their own that no app can remove. Use wired headphones, a USB audio interface or the device speaker for playing.
If it still feels slow, open Settings → Audio and try a smaller Buffer Size. If you hear crackles, choose a larger one. If nothing helps, email us your exact device model — we want to know.
I hear no sound.
Check your device volume, then the Master fader and the channel mutes in the Mixer. If another app (a call, a recorder, a video) holds the audio output, close it and reopen OrganKey.
How do I connect a MIDI keyboard or pedal?
Plug a class-compliant USB MIDI keyboard into your device (an adapter may be needed), or switch on a Bluetooth MIDI keyboard. Then open Settings → MIDI, refresh the device list or tap the Bluetooth button, and choose it as the Input Device. Set the MIDI Channel and Velocity Curve to suit it. Pedals are assigned in Settings → Pedal, and MIDI Learn maps other controls.
Why does OrganKey ask for Bluetooth (or location on older Android)?
Only to find and connect Bluetooth MIDI keyboards and pedals. On Android 11 and older, the system requires the location permission before any app can scan for Bluetooth devices; OrganKey does not read or use your location. You can decline, and everything except Bluetooth MIDI keeps working.
How does the arranger follow my chords?
Turn on Split and Auto Chord on the Home screen. Keys left of the split point form the chord zone; OrganKey recognises the chord you hold there (13 chord types, including inversions) and the style follows it. Move the split point in Settings → Keyboard, and choose the chord mode and Sync Start in Settings → Arranger.
Is it free? What does Premium add?
OrganKey is free to download and play. Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks all included Pro features and removes ads, with no expiry date. You can also watch an optional rewarded ad to unlock all Pro features for 10 minutes. The Terms of Use explain purchases and temporary access.
I reinstalled or changed device. How do I get Premium back?
Your Lifetime Pro purchase belongs to the account in the store where you bought it. On a compatible device, sign in to that same store account and tap Restore Purchases in Settings or on the Premium screen. App Store purchases restore on supported Apple devices; Google Play purchases restore on supported Android devices. Purchases do not transfer between the two stores. Presets, favourites and settings stay on the old device; we do not keep a copy. Rewarded passes expire at their original time and do not transfer to another device.
Does Lifetime Pro renew automatically?
No. Lifetime Pro has no expiry date, renewal or recurring charge. You pay once for the included Pro features on iOS or Android. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. If you purchased a subscription in an older version, manage or cancel it in your store account; removing the app does not cancel that subscription.
Does the app send anything about me?
Only in three cases. If you turn on Share diagnostics in Settings, crash reports and usage events go to Firebase — it is off by default, and individual notes and chords are never sent. In the free version, Google AdMob receives what it needs to show ads; where the law requires it you are asked first, and on iPhone and iPad you are asked before tracking. If you buy Pro, the store and RevenueCat handle the purchase — we never see your card. The Privacy Policy has the full picture.
How do I change my ad privacy choices or delete my data?
Where a consent choice applies in your region, use Ad Privacy Choices at the bottom of Settings. On iOS you can change tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. To delete everything OrganKey stored on your device, uninstall the app or clear its storage.
Can I use what I play in a video or a song I publish?
Yes. Your performances are yours, commercially or otherwise. What you may not do is extract the app’s sounds or style patterns to redistribute them as a sample pack or style library. Section 4 of the Terms of Use spells this out.
Reporting a bug
Please include your device model, its operating system version, the app version from the bottom of Settings, whether a MIDI device was connected, and what you did just before the problem. A screen recording is worth a hundred words. We reply to everything, usually within a few days.
